A Maryland father was shot and killed while doing the viral 'milk crate challenge' on TikTok with a group of friends.
Julian Kirkland, 28, was filmed performing the challenge and was seen climbing a pyramid of milk crates while onlookers watched in Landover.
After completing it, Kirkland was shot by an unidentified suspect three times on August 25.
Officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were called to the scene at around 8.10pm at Kent Village Drive.

Kirkland, whose nickname was 'Juju', was a maintenance worker from District Heights and father of a two-year-old girl.
'I am emotionally distraught', Tammy Kirkland, the victim's mom, told NBC. 'I want someone to be able to come forward and say 'I did this and I apologize.'
She also added that her son was a big fan of viral challenges.
The Prince Georges Police Department, when reached by DailyMail.com on Monday, said there have been no arrests made as they investigate the senseless shooting

The challenge that Kirkland performed was started as a viral trend earlier this month where people walk up and down an unsecured pyramid of milk crates.
However, TikTok began banning videos of the challenge when many users began sustaining serious injuries after falling off.
Kirkland's murder followed the random gun violence that 8-year-old Peyton James 'PJ' Evans dead.

The shooter, who remains on the loose, reportedly driving a white Sedan.
'My baby is gone,' PJ's mom Tiffiani Evans told 7 News Maryland Bureau Chief Brad Bell.
'That’s all I had that’s all I lived for. Understand me? I sacrificed so much in my life for that little boy and now my son is gone to some coward dudes that wanted to do some coward things instead of being a man.'
A candlelight vigil and a balloon release was held in honor of Evans over the weekend.
