Four people are in hospital, including a pensioner, after being shot in what is being described as a 'drive-by' attack in London.

Some of the victims hit during the attack in Camden last night include a 73-year-old woman, a 19-year-old woman, a 17-year-old girl and a 28-year-old man.

They are recovering from their injuries in hospital.

The elderly woman was hit by a stray bullet as she stood on her balcony in Clarence Gardens, near to Regent's Park, at around 10.10pm.

It is believed she was asking the party-goers to quieten down before she was caught in the crossfire.

Speaking to The Sun, a friend said: 'She would have only come out to tell them to stop making such a racket, and tell them to stop.
