Cops are stepping up their probe into former Trump aide Brad Parscale in the wake of his suicidal meltdown – and they say his wife is 'fully cooperating' with investigators, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
The President's demoted campaign manager, 44, sparked an armed siege last weekend when he barricaded himself inside his waterfront Florida mansion after 'ranting and raving' and cocking a pistol in front of petrified Candice Parscale.
Candice, 41, told responding officers that she had suffered cuts and bruises in a physical altercation with Parscale but tried to walk those comments back Wednesday in coordinated public statements issued by her and her husband.
'The statements I made on Sunday have been misconstrued, let it be clear my husband was not violent towards me that day or any day prior,' she told Politico.
Despite her sudden about-turn, DailyMail.com can reveal the police probe is still active and that officers from the Fort Lauderdale Investigations Bureau visited the couple's home Thursday afternoon, talking with their hired security team for about 20 minutes.

DailyMail.com revealed this week that Parscale was also subject to an internal audit investigating claims he 'stole' as much as $40million from Trump's 2020 re-election campaign and up to $10million from the Republic National Committee.
The President's deputy press secretary Ken Farnaso denied the story, saying: 'There is no investigation, no audit, and there never was.'
But Business Insider reported similarly that Parscale's spending at the campaign was subject to an internal audit into an estimated $10million worth of wasted spending.
The outlet further reported that Parscale had told fellow 2020 staffers and friends that he was under Federal investigation, though it remains unclear whether any such inquiry exists as officials at several law enforcement agencies declined comment.
According to statements made to officers during Sunday's siege and overheard on their bodycam videos, Candice said her husband had been making suicidal comments and suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
She claimed she fled the house when he began 'ranting and raving' and cocked a revolver. She wasn't sure if he had fired it or not but reported hearing a loud boom.
When officers asked about injuries to Candice's arms and face she said she suffered them in a previous 'altercation' with her husband of eight years.
'While speaking with Candace Parscale I noticed several large sized contusions on both of her arms, her cheek and forehead,' Officer S. Smith wrote in his report.
'When I asked how she received the bruising, Candace Parscale stated Brad Parscale hits her. When asked if he made these markings today, she claimed he did not.
'I continued to ask if Brad Parscale physically assaulted her in any way today and she said no, but he did forcibly smack her phone out of her hand when she was attempting to call Brad Parscale`s father.'

Another officer, T. Skaggs, wrote: 'While speaking with Candace I observed several bruises on both which she advised occurred a few days ago, during a physical altercation with Bradley, which she did not report.'
Police referenced Candice's remarks in a petition filed at Broward County Circuit Court Wednesday, asking permission from a judge to confiscate Parscale's cache of 11 weapons, including seven handguns, two rifles and two shotguns.
'Bradley James Parscale poses a significant danger of causing personal injury to himself or others by having a firearm or any ammunition in his custody,' the filing warned.
Parscale spent two days in Broward Health Medical Center before he emerged Wednesday morning and was driven away in a black SUV.
Since then neither he, nor Candice, have been seen at their house which is being patrolled by three private security guards, though multiple food orders have been dropped off at the door.
A source close to the Trump campaign told DailyMail.com this week that Parscale's drinking spiraled out of control after his demotion.
The source said Parscale had been spotted stumbling out of bars in Fort Lauderdale, where he and his wife own three swish condos worth a combined $5million.
The couple have at least $300,000 worth of cars - including a 2017 Ferrari, a Range Rover and a BMX X6 - while public records suggest Parscale has owned as many as eight boats.
Their spending spree represents a remarkable turnaround for Parscale who lost his family's company to bankruptcy in the mid-2000s but has rebuild his finances after working for Trump in various digital guises.

'The thing about what Parscale did with the finances of the campaign could actually be totally legal,' the source cautioned. 'But Brad has tons of bills since his lifestyle picked up, and he sees the gravy train coming to an end.'
Parscale was a web designer with no interest in politics when he first received an email from the Trump Organization in 2011 asking him to pitch a design for a website hawking a real estate scheme.
More projects followed and in 2015 Parscale received another email telling him Trump was thinking about running for president and needed a campaign website in two days.
'So I wrote back and said, 'Yeah, I'll do it for $1,500,'' Parscale told 60 Minutes in 2017.
By the end of the election season, Parscale had seen more than $94million in campaign contributions flow through one of his companies that engineered Trump's controversial online election marketing.
By then, Parscale, considered particularly close to the President's son-in-law Jared Kushner, was one of a handful of people allowed to tweet on Trump's behalf.

In the wake of the 2016 election, Parscale, a father-of-one, sold Giles-Parscale, his original digital web company, to CloudCommerce for $10million, including $9million in stocks.
CNN reported last August that another company owned by Parscale, Red State Data and Digital, received more than $900,000 from America First Action, the President's flagship political action committee.
Despite rules barring Super PACs from coordinating with the campaign he insisted it was a 'perfectly legal and appropriate arrangement' with 'zero chance for coordination'.
Speaking to DailyMail.com in August 2019, Parscale said he was not in the slightest bit apologetic about his wealth.
'I make no secret about the fact that working for the Trump family made me a wealthy man well before I ever became President Trump's campaign manager,' he said.
'The President is an excellent businessman and being associated with him for years has been extremely beneficial to my family.'
