Daniel Andrews' mum has revealed he is not spending his first day off with her after working for the past 120 days in a row.
Mr Andrews did not front the media as his state recorded just one new coronavirus case on Saturday, bringing his daily news conference marathon to an end.
His mother, Jan, marked the occasion by phoning into ABC Radio's This Weekend Life with Libbi Gorr.
Jan revealed she had not seen her son since Christmas because she lives in regional Victoria, but did watch his press conferences every day.
Gorr asked Jan whether she felt 'proud and relieved' that Victoria and Mr Andrews had seemingly overcome a deadly second wave of COVID-19 infections.

'It's a combination of everything really,' she said, speaking to her feelings.
'But we've gotten through it and now we just have to be very very very mindful and do everything responsibly because we never ever want to experience this again.'
Jan revealed the last time she saw her son, his wife Catherine and their children was during Christmas last year.
She has been in regular communication with her daughter-in-law and grandchildren and said she has watched every single one of her son's press conferences.
'I have watched every press conference and some days I have thought ''yes you look okay'' and other days I've thought ''oh Daniel looking very tired'',' she said.
'But he's strong and he has a responsible job and he has a wonderful wife and the rest is history.'

Jan does not know when she will next see the premier as she lives outside of the 25-kilometre travel bubble.
The 77-year-old is based outside of Wangaratta, in north-east Victoria. It would take about 2.5 hours to drive to Melbourne.
Jan was asked if she knew how Mr Andrews was spending his first day off.
'I spoke to him on Thursday night and I purposely didn't ask him because I thought ''no, that's their time'',' she said.
'Let him have a day of doing whatever makes him happy.'
The radio host asked Jan whether she had a message for Mr Andrews as he enjoys some time away from the cameras.
She said: 'He's an ordinary person doing the very best he can do.'
