Children and parents are injured after driver 'has heart attack' and car mounts pavement outside London primary during the school run

Children and parents were injured after a car mounted the pavement outside a London primary school today. 

Emergency services are on the scene outside Beatrix Potter primary in Earlsfield, south west London. 

Wandsworth Police have confirmed that a vehicle collided with a 'number of children and two parents' while pupils were leaving at the end of the day.

One child endured what is thought to be a leg fracture - but it is not believed that any life-threatening injuries were sustained.

Wandsworth Police said in a statement: 'We're dealing with a collision near a school in Openview #Wandsworth #SW18. 

'A car mounted the pavement and collided with a number of children and two parents. 

'Injuries not life-threatening; one child may have a broken leg. The driver of the car stopped at the scene. No arrests.'
