He’s appeared in comedy movie after comedy movie, making his mark as an in-demand funny man.
But on Friday night, it was time for Jack Black to sit back and listen to his cohorts make the jokes.
The 43-year-old was the guest of honour at the Friars Club Roast Honours Jack Black at the New York Hilton and Towers.

Jack has starred in films such as Kung Fu Panda, Tropic Thunder, Nacho Libre and School of Rock, which gave his roasters lots of material to work with.
His roast brought out the likes of Gene Simmons, Oliver Platt, Jeff Ross and one music legend who made quite a showing on the red carpet.

Waving her arms in the air and then slightly bending over with her hands on her hips, the Blondie singer posed in bizarre positions, which may have been fitting for the comedic event.
