The odd couple: Zac Efron shows off dapper dance moves as New Girl star

The two actors could not have formed an odder pairing.
While Zac Efron showed off his smooth dance moves, New Girl star Jake Johnson was vomiting in his boot.
The juxtaposition was for their new movie Townies shooting in Los Angeles, on Thursday.

Zac was the picture of the dapper leading man as he stalked around set sucking on a lollipop.
The 25-year-old actor occasionally busted out an elegant dance move while he rehearsed his lines.
The Charlie St Cloud star was dressed in fitted grey dress pants, a thin leather belt, and thin blue tie.

The 17 Again star careened sock-less around the cluttered film equipment in black slip on loafers.
His newly muscular physique was barely kept under wraps in a collared white button down with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
The Hairspray star appeared at one point to be relaxing to some music as he wore inconspicuous ear buds in-between takes on set.

Zac's co-star, Jake, appeared to not only be a versatile actor but also a master of ingenuity when it came to inventing novel uses for his footwear.
The television star was spotted feigning illness in a retro 80s getup for his onscreen duties.
The 34-year-old - who sported a bushy handle bar mustache - was caught retching quite convincingly into his motorcycle boot.

While the stunt was purely a show for the cameras he did manage to spew an unsightly mass into the leather accessory.
The scene depicted a high school sporting event as the Safety Not Guaranteed star cheered on the athletes from his perch in the bleachers.
But his character apparently got sick as he sipped a beverage in a beer Stein.

And not wanting to leave his coveted mid-tier bleacher spot, the mullet-wearing actor opted for the nearest thing resembling a receptacle- which was apparently his own black leather biker boot.
With admirable gusto the television star let loose a sizable deposit into his left shoe.
Once the sickening feat was completed he maintained a tight hold on the defiled footwear - and even managed to wave the sloshing motorcycle gear above his head as his favoured team scored a point.

Jake donned a truly nostalgic costume for the day of shooting, which was apparently a throwback sequence set in the 1980s.
The sitcom star slipped on acid wash jeans tucked into the aforementioned black motorcycle boots.
And the 80s trend only went further, as he wore a sleeveless hooded denim jacket over a frat boy shirt.

The new movie, titled Townies, centres on a frat boy whose behaviour affects the family life of a neighbor.
Dave Franco and Seth Rogen join the cast for what promises to be a fun and raunchy comedy.
And Seth - who is also a producer on the film - made an appearance on set for the day's shenanigans, even taking a few impromptu snaps.
