He posted: 'Morning. ! This is it ! I'm goin to the dentist! I think this is my last hour with braces! Oh how I'm gona miss them ! Naaaaaaat !'
And after having them removed he posted a snap of his old crooked teeth next to his new perfect smile, showing the difference the braces have made.
Niall had clear braces, which are much pricier than the standard metal version most teenagers have.
The singer's teeth aren't only straighter, they are also much whiter than when he found fame and contestants on the X Factor are usually treated to a teeth whitening treatment during the latter stages of the show.
On Tuesday night Miley Cyrus posted a snap of the Irish heartthrob along with American music producer Mike Will and the 20-year-old singer and actress in a recording studio.

On Wednesday Daybreak viewers saw a behind-the-scenes video as One Direction paid a visit to Madam Tussauds to have waxworks of themselves made.
Niall admitted he was was quite surprised when the band were asked to pose and said: 'We were super excited to find out that they were making us and that people felt we were worthy of a figure.'
