Getting comfy for charity! TOWIE’s Jasmin Walia and Mel C wea

They are usually seen looking glamorous and dressed to the nines when they appear on TV screens or at red carpet events.
But Jasmin Walia and Mel C have gone back to basics to front the annual Dream Walk events.
And while they may have ditched their gowns in the favour of onesies and pyjamas the TOWIE star and Spice Girl looked no less glamorous as they showed their support for the famous night time charity walks.

The two well-known faces were joined by Celebrity Big Brother star Tricia Primrose and Hollyoaks actress Terri Dwyer, who too slipped into the comfortable attire.

Posing on a range of luxury looking beds and sofas the women all looked great as they pulled off the often unflattering attire.
But while Jasmin may have said goodbye to her sky-high heels in favour of the comfy slippers, she’s still had plenty of make-up on – not letting down her fellow Essex girls.

The 9k walks are being organised by the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, a charity the the group all support.
Thousands of women are expected to take part in the fancy dress, sponsored night walk along the Liverpool and Glasgow waterfronts later this year.
Speaking about her involvement Jasmin said: ‘I love getting all glammed up but think this is just as much fun and even better, its helping to raise money and awareness for charity. I think all girls should get their onesies and lashes on and join the Dream Walk.’

Melanie C who has been a patron of the charity for ten years, said: ‘I am supporting the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation Dream Walk again this year as I think it’s a great way to get women together, embrace everything we love about being from Liverpool, have a laugh and most importantly raise money for a worthy cause.
‘I can’t wait to see herds of women in their pyjamas and rollers walking together as women against lung cancer.’
Heartbeat actress Tricia added: ‘After Mum was diagnosed with lung cancer, we both really wanted to do something to help raise awareness about the disease.

‘Liverpool and Glasgow are two of the worst affected places in the country, which is why I am calling on as many women as possible to get into their onesies and rollers and help us make some noise about lung cancer.’
Since 2009, more than four thousand women have taken part in the Dream Walks and have raised over £300,000 for charity.
The Liverpool Dream Walk takes places on Friday May 24th and Glasgow Dream Walk on Friday 29th June.
