Day to night transformation: Newly single Julianne Hough is the wholesome girl

Fans of Dancing with the Stars know Julianne Hough has to make a lot of costume changes.
And it seems like she is just as happy to swap her looks around when she is away from the hot studio lights, too.
The 24-year old made a confident arrival at the Lucky Magazine Fashion And Beauty Blogger (FABB) event in Hollywood looking like a vision of 1950s femininity.

Earlier in the day she had been running around Hollywood in jeans and a leather jacket, so perhaps she decided to up her look knowing she would be rubbing shoulders with so many stylish and passionate individuals at the bloggers' cocktail party.
Julianne looked undeniably pretty in carefully applied make-up which accentuated her natural features.

A touch of coral lip gloss, peach cheeks and fake eyelashes gave her the air of being a modern Hitchcock blonde.

The way she pulled her hair in to a stylish chignon also added to her retro air.
Julianne wore a tight fitting, short sleeved coral sweater by Carolina Herrera, which high set off her golden tan and showcased her toned upper body and arms.
Her tiny waist was emphasized by a long white skirt by the same designer with an interesting pastel pattern and thin orange belt.

Matching the yellow tones of the skirt were her shoes, a pair of canary coloured, satin stilettos.
She carried no accessories and wore just a pair of diamante earrings, meaning the bright tones of her outfit were not detracted from.
Overall, Julianne looked happy and relaxed, which will be a relief for fans who might have worried she was sad about the recent ending of her relationship.

She told PARADE: 'I think at the end of the day you have to find a balance with what's really important.
'It's a hard thing to do, especially when you're so caught up in your work and bettering yourself.'
Luckily she has a good support network, her brother Dereck Hough and plenty of friends, to keep her cheerful.
She was seen chatting amiably to Revenge star Christa B. Allen at the Lucky Magazine event.
The brunette actress was wearing a short pastel coloured dress, that was equally fabulous and colourful as Julianne's.

Earlier on Thursday, Julianne had enjoyed lunch with friends at Wolfgangs in Beverly Hills.
She wore a leather jacket and patterened trousers for the rendezvous.
Julianne was clearly enamoured with her trousers, and told her Twitter fans all about them.
'I'm loving my maxwell flower jeans that I'm wearing today! So fun and perfect for spring!' she tweeted.
